Behzad Aminian

I finished my BASc in mechanical engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. I’m pursuing thermofluid as my specialization since I can see a broad range of applications for that in the future world. Sustainability, Energy-saving, and global warming, in particular, are among the most popular topics in engineering environments. In my master’s studies, I’m working on improving the performance of Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs). These are a component in HVAC systems that help save more energy in buildings by utilizing exhaust air energy before discharging it into the atmosphere. My research includes developing a mathematical model of these units, obtaining experimental data to verify my model, and proposing optimized designs that can enhance the efficiency of these units.
